We report a case of a 42-year-old female patient with metastatic angiosarcoma of the breast on the left side of the chest wall.<BR>The cutaneous metastases were flatwise elevated, purple-red to pale bluish, soft tumors. Histologically, atypical cells which formed welldifferentiated to poorly differentiated vascular channels were located massively or sporadically in the whole layer of the dermis to subcutaneous adipose tissue. The tumor cells of the cutaneous lesion were less differentiated and more atypical than the primary breast tumor.<BR>The cutaneous metastasis of angiosarcoma of the breast is not uncommon; however, the metastatic lesions in the previous reports are those which occured in the post-operative stage of primary breast tumor. Our present case seems to be noteworthy in that the cutaneous lesion was noted before mastectomy and the diagnosis was established by skin biopsy.
