New topics, or those dealt with in more detail than in the previous edition include: the impact of knowledge of red cell antigens derived from studies with monoclonal antibodies, problems of bone-marrow grafting, syndromes produced by passenger' lymphocytes in transplanted organs and features of Rh haemolytic disease in 20-week foetuses as revealed by blood sampling in utero .
