This is a comprehensive text in two volumes on spine disorders in adults and children which covers anatomy, pathophysiology, radiology, diagnosis and operative and post-operative treatment. Surgical treatment is also emphasized in terms of technique, results and management of complications. A new section has been incorporated on the spinal cord, including information on tumours, AV malformations and cysts of the spinal cord. Anatomy and embryology chapters have been updated and new chapters on spinal stenosis and spondylolisthesis have been added.
