Description and Table of Contents

Description

The Ernest Peters International Symposium on Hydrometallurgy Theory and Practice constitutes the 22nd Annual Hydrometallurgical Meeting of the Metallurgical Society of the CIM with co-sponsorship by AusIMM, IMM, JIM and TMS-AIME. The Symposium is intended as a tribute to Professor Peters in recognition of his contribution to hydrometallurgy. This volume contains 59 papers including 6 plenary lectures giving an up-to-date assessment of 6 important areas of hydrometallurgy. Emphasis is given to significant new developments in aqueous extractive metallurgy. This book will appeal to a wide audience, not only in extractive metallurgy but also in mineral processing, the environment, and in resource development.
