内容説明
Most organizations now allow a few employees to work at home, in remote offices, on odd schedules. Usually, such flexibility is permitted on an add hoc basis, outside the official company policy. But as businesses begin to understand the advantages of flexible work arrangements (happier workers, lower absenteeism, increased productivity, accommodation of diverse workers, compliance with anti-pollution regulations, lower overhead costs), many of them struggling to make work-place flexibility part of their corporate policy. This book is designed to help managers evaluate the risks and benefits of these alternative arrangements, and guide them through the unfamiliar process of implementing, formalizing or expanding flexible work policies.
