This text covers all the major works of the architect Renzo Piano between 1987 and 1994. 33 projects and buildings are covered, and the annex contains a list of recent and earlier work. The book is introduced by an interview with the architect by the architectural critic, Dr Vittorio Magnago Lampugnani (Curator of the German Architectural Museum in Frankfurt). In this interview, Piano speaks about his philosophy and the background to his enormous success.
