Description

This primer is intended for primary care physicians and other "nonspecialists" who need to recognize children's cardiovascular problems. A sound overview of the clinical examination for a child, various diagnostic procedures (echocardiography, electrocardiogram), surgical and nonsurgical therapies, and specific coronary diseases including coronary artery disease and congenital heart defects is provided.
