This volume contains the full texts of presentations at the XIIth World Congress of Sexology held in Yokohama, Japan from August 12 to 16, 1995. Sexology must be approached not only from a viewpoint of medicine but also from sociology, anthropology and cultural history. It has an important role at the base of human science in contemporary society.
