This volume contains the full texts of presentations at the XIIth World Congress of Sexology held in Yokohama, Japan from August 12 to 16, 1995. Sexology must be approached not only from a viewpoint of medicine but also from sociology, anthropology and cultural history. It has an important role at the base of human science in contemporary society. Various topics such as sex therapy, sexual behaviour, sexuality and the handicapped, family planning, sexuality and nursing, HIV/AIDS/STD, sexuality education, brain and sex differentiation, impotence, homosexuality, child sexual abuse, teenage pregnancy and more were discussed during the congress.
