Description
These proceedings collect lectures presented at the X Special Courses of the Graduate School in Astronomy of the Observatorio Nacional in Brazil. This is the 10th annual school, which gathers graduate students and post-docs in astronomy and astrophysics. Four specialists from different areas are invited annually to present a course of lectures in their field of research. This year's lectures cover planetary disks, globular clusters, dwarf galaxies, and cosmology.
