    記憶には,言語記憶と非言語記憶があるが,どちらが優位であるかは人それぞれである.購買意思決定時に,言語・非言語記憶想起のどちらが優位であるか把握できれば,想起しやすい広告を作ることが可能となる.本研究では,言語非言語記憶想起のどちらが優位であるかを,前頭葉における脳血流量の変化から判別するシステムを提案する.脳血流変化の最大値と最小値から指標を求めSVMにより,言語・非言語記憶想起のどちらであるかを判別する.提案手法の検証実験として,言語記憶は単語,非言語記憶は図の想起を促す実験を行い,交差検定法により評価する.その結果,言語・非言語間の想起を高精度に判別することができた.

  • 構成行為の発達とその臨床的意義 : 構成行為の発達とその臨床的意義

    In this paper, our basic and clinical studies using the Rey-Osterrieth Complex Figure Test to examine the subject?s constructional abilities were reviewed. In a result, some findings about the normal development of the constructional actions and clinical significance of the Rey-Osterrieth Complex Figure Test were revealed. The main findings of them were as follows.( 1) The development of the copy organization strategy tended to progress from" local strategy" observed in the lower grade children to" global strategy" observed in the upper grade children during elementary school period.( 2) The copy organization strategy could predict the performance of the recall accuracy in normal adolescents, but not in the autism adolescents.( 3) Even in the elderly, the constructional ability estimated by Rey-Osterrieth Complex Figure Test remained at a high level.

  • 自閉症エコラリアと健常児の音声模倣における自動性と意図 -ジャクソニズムの立場からの考察-

    The significance of the autism echolalia and vocal imitations in 1- year- old normal children is considered from Jacksonistic point of view. In this study, through the observations of the replies or utterances in 1-yearold normal children, it was revealed that the automatic vocal imitations frequently existed immediately before the appearance of the intentional replies or utterances in them. Such automatic responses were thought to play a fixed role in language acquisition and development of communication in 1-year-old normal children. In contrast, the autism echolalia, one kind of the automatic response, in many cases, is not followed by the intentional responses possibly due to a difficulty in the access to the intentional responses or the immaturity of the intentional processes. Recently the autism echolalia seems to have some communicational functions. On the basis of the Jacksonism, such communicational functions of the autism echolalia are assumed to be the products of the lower order automatic responses(echolalia) having accomplished some developmental changes to communicate with other persons.

  • 幼児期における計算能力と手指の巧緻性の特異的関係

    本研究では,幼児68名を対象に計算能力と手指の巧緻性の特異的な関係について検討した。具体的には,まず,手指の巧緻性に加えて走る,投げる,跳ぶなどの運動能力も測定し,計算能力との関係の強さを比較した。次に,手指の巧緻性が他の認知能力と比べて計算能力と強く関係しているかを明らかにするために,言語能力を取り上げ手指の巧緻性との関係の強さを計算能力と比較した。さらに,言語能力に対応する運動能力としてリズム運動を設定し,認知能力に関係すると考えられる手指の巧緻性とリズム運動という運動能力間で,計算能力との関係の強さを比較した。重回帰分析の結果,全体ならびに年中児と年長児に分けた場合でも,計算能力に最も強く影響を与えていたのは手指の巧緻性であった。また,言語能力にはリズム運動が強く影響を与えており,手指の巧緻性は関係していなかった。以上の結果から,計算能力は運動能力の中でも特に手指の巧緻性と強く関係し,手指の巧緻性は言語能力よりも計算能力と強く関係することが明らかとなった。これらの知見に関して,脳の局在論と表象の機能論の観点から論じた。

  • 通常学級におけるインフォーマルアセスメントの有効性に関する考察2-描画と姿勢の観察から-

    最近の小学校1 年生は不器用で,姿勢の維持ができない児童が多くみられる。また,発達障害児や「気になる子」だけではなく,全体的に描画は未熟な印象を受けることが多い。そこで小学校1 年生の人物画発達を調査し,姿勢の維持ができない児童との関係について検討した。対象は小学校1 年生に在籍する125 名で,グッドイナフ人物画知能検査行った。描かれた画は描画発達年齢を求め人物画知能(DAM-IQ)を算出した。対象児のうち行動観察で低緊張が認められる児童は102 名,で描画発達は遅れており平均DAM-IQ は80.4 で低値であった全体のDAM-IQ は平均83.6 であった。診断はないが行動や社会性に関して「気になる子」どもはいるが,今回は姿勢との関連に着目し,その原因や発達の詳細との関連なども検討し,今後のインフォーマルなアセスメントに必要があると考えられた。

  • 小学校3,4 年生における人物画の大きさとコンピテンスとの関係

    The author investigated the relationship between human figure drawing size and perceived competence in third- and forth- grade elementary students, considering sex differences. The results of this study were as follows.( 1)The size of the figures drawn by males was significantly bigger than that of the figures drawn by females(. 2)There was a close relationship between size of human drawings and perceived competence(academic and physical aspects).( 3)Nevertheless, substantial sex differences existed in the relationship between them, indicating that it is important to consider sex differences in the clinical interpretation of children's human drawings.

  • 子どもの手指失認(finger agnosia)検査における性差と左右差

    In this research, the data on three kinds of finger agnosia tests of 97 normal children of 5-7 and 10-12 years old was reanalyzed in terms of sex differences and discrepancies between the left and right hands, in addition to age differences. ANOVAs revealed significant main effects of sex and side only in the finger naming test (FN). The reason why these findings were obtained in FN was discussed, in reference to sex differences in the language development and the superiority of the left hemisphere in word findings.

  • 女子大学生における人物画の大きさと身体満足度との関係

    We investigated the relationship between human figure drawing size and perceived body satisfaction by using three types of body image test; Self Rating Body Image(SRBI), Self Image Drawing(SID), and Inner Body Image(IBI) in 140 female university students. One way ANOVAs revealed that the size of lumber width estimated by the SID had a significant main effect on the satisfaction of visceral organ estimated by the SRBI, in other words, a degree of satisfaction of visceral organ in the students who drawn the human figures with wide lumbar width was higher than that in the students who drawn those with narrow lumbar width. We discussed the reason why there was such a relationship between the human figure drawings and the body satisfaction from the viewpoint of body schema.

  • 幼児における手指の巧緻性と計算能力の関係

    幼児は数を表したり数えたりする際に指を使っている。幼児の計算時における指の利用に関しては計算の方略という観点から研究が多く行われており,発達段階や課題によって指の利用頻度や用い方が変化することが明らかにされてきた。これらの結果は,計算において指の利用が重要な役割を果たしていることを示唆しているが,近年,指の認識の発達も計算能力に関係することが指摘されはじめた。そこで本研究では,指の認識過程において重要な役割を果たすと考えられる手指の運動に着目し,幼稚園の年長児48名を対象に計算能力と手指の巧緻性の関係を検討した。その結果,手指の巧緻性と計算能力との間には有意な強い相関がみられ,この関係は,月齢と動作性の知的発達得点や月齢と短期記憶容量の得点を統制しても,変わることがなかった。また,計算能力との相関は短期記憶容量よりも指の巧緻性の方が強かった。以上の結果から,就学前の子ども計算能力には,従来の知見から予想される以上に,手指の巧緻性が関係していることが示唆された。

  • 思春期における対側性連合運動(CAMs)に関する発達的検討

    A sample of 293 healthy children of 8-12 years old was studied in this research. Degree of contralateral associated movements(CAMs)during diadochokinesis(pronation-supination of upper limb)was observed and assessed. Among right handedness children, there was a decrease of CAMs with age, with a remarkable decrease at 11 years(females)and at 12 years(males)respectively. And females showed fewer CAMs than males in almost all age groups. These sex differences were consistent with a fact that the adolescent spurt begins one or two years earlier in females than in males. Also in non-right handedness children, there were similar results as obtained in the right handedness. These results were discussed mainly on the basis of the callosal inhibition hypothesis(Nass,1985).

  • 児童養護施設における高機能自閉症スペクトラム障害(ASD)スクリーニングの課題

    In this research, we carried out the autism spectrum disorder(ASD) screening questionnaire(ASSQ-R) for 119 child nursing institutionalized children of three places in K city in order to examine inter-rater reliability of ASSQ-R and search problems existed in this type of screening in child nursing homes. As a result, it revealed that although ASSQ-R showed an appropriate inter-rater reliability, it had a difficulty of distinguishing ASD from reactive attachment disorder. On the basis of these results and the results of a more detail qualitative analysis of the questionnaire, we pointed out that the neuropsychological tests of motor and perceptual development were indispensable to distinguish between ASD and reactive attachment disorder.

  • 体育専攻女子大学生のボディ・イメージの特徴について

    Body image is closely related to the weight control, the management of body shape, and eating behaviors. To clarify the characteristics of body image among female college students majoring in physical education, the present study conducted a questionnaire survey regarding exercise habits, ideal height/weight and body image on 179 students majoring in physical education (PH), 133 students majoring in nutritional sciences (NU), and 113 students majoring in paedology (PA). The results can be summarized as follows: 1) Eighty-two percent PH habitually exercised, and most exercised 5-6 days/week for 3-4h/day. 2) Mean reported height and weight among PH was 160.4cm and 54.8kg, respectively. This was significantly higher than the 158.5cm/52.5kg mean values reported by NU and the 158.0cm/51.4kg mean for PA, as well as national height/weight means. 3) Mean ideal height and weight among PH was 163.6cm and 51.5kg. Comparison of differences between reported and ideal values among PH with those among students in the other two majors revealed that PH wished to be taller, and students majoring in nutritional sciences and PA wished to be lighter. 4) PH presented similar responses to those NU and PA in 11 of 13 questions regarding body image such as "I am too fat" (affirmed by 55.3% of PH) and "I should lose weight" (affirmed by 71.5%). In contrast, the percentage of students who responded "applicable" for the remaining 2 questions, "I wish to become thinner to be attractive to other people" and "I should maintain lighter weight by exercising more" were significantly lower among PH. 5) The correlation coefficients among 13 questions were caluculated and the correlation matrix was submitted to a principal components analysis. It was found that about 60% of total variance of the thirteen variables was accounted for by four components. Furthermore, from the inspection of eigenvectors corresponding to these components, it was supposed that the first principal components represents the factor of desire for thin body. The means of scores of the first principal components in PH were significantly different among NU and PA. Above result explains that PH. from Physical Program are conducting regular physical exercise and have similar image or imagination of the body to those of PH from UN and PA, and there is a significant difference in their preference of ideal and thin body.

  • Rey-Osterrieth複雑図形の模写における正確さと構成方略の発達

    The Rey-Osterrieth Complex Figure Test was administered to 65 normal school-aged children (2nd and 5th grades). Three types of methods of scoring (Osterrieth method, W-H method and OSS) which were respectively focused on the accuracy or organizational process of the drawing were applied to measure some neuropsychological abilities. Both of the accuracy and organization on the copy of the figure were found to develop prominently between the 2nd and 5th grade. There was a statistically significant sex difference (male<female) in the accuracy but not in the organization. Although there were almost no statistically significant correlation coefficients between the accuracy and organization in the 2nd grade, some significant correlation coefficients between them were found in the 5th grade. In addition, it was revealed that the accuracy of the drawing of intersections in the figure on the copy could predict the performance (accuracy) of the recall in both grades.

  • 利き手の発達臨床的意義について

    Laterality means a phenomenon indicating the preference or the asymmetry of performance between the right and left sides of the body, for instance, handedness, footedness, eyedness and earedness. In this paper, we focused on the handedness among them and firstly described the methodology of the assessments, the developmental processes, and the causes of the handedness respectively. Next, we discussed the clinical significance of the left handedness (or the mixed handedness) and crossed laterality (CL). In this discussion, we stressed that a clinical significance of suggesting the presence of the minor brain damage might exist when the large asymmetry between the right and left hand functions (right hand function poor) is observed in the left handedness person, and that the performance asymmetry in addition to the preference between both hands should be examined in the assessment of handedness. Also we pointed out that the CL (especially between hand and foot) might have a clinical significance only when accompanied by other neuropsychological abnormalities.

  • 軽度発達障害児における不器用さ(Clumsiness)の臨床検査法について : 神経学的微細徴候(soft neurological signs)の年齢的判定基準を中心に

    We believe that the evaluation of soft neurological signs (SNS), in addition to the natural observation of children's actions in their every day's life, for example, using scissors, is neccesary for an accurate diagnosis of clumsiness of children with mild developmental disorders containing Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), Learning Disorders (LD), Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Asperger's Disorder, and so on. Then in this paper, mainly based on the results of our previous normative studies, we described in detail the techniques, observation points, age-criteria, and clinical significance of typical and representative 11 kinds of the SNS tests: (1) ocular movement test, (2) mouth opening and finger spreading phenomenon, (3) finger lifting test, (4) finger sequencing test, (5) diadochokinesis, (6) heel toe tapping, (7) standing on one leg, (8) hopping, (9) stress gait, (10) finger agnosia test, (11) right left discrimination test.

  • セルフエスティームの高さに及ぼす基本的信頼感

    The present study is aimed at clarifying how basic trust is associated with self-esteem. A two-phase questionnaire survey was performed in early May (Phase 1) and late July (Phase 2) 2004. Two hundred and fifteen junior or vocational college students participated in both phases of the survey. The comparison of self-esteem scores between both phases showed that most (89 percent of the total) students' self-esteem was enhanced through their 3 month college life (p< .01 ). Detailed statistical analyses identified moderately strong positive correlation between basic trust subscale scores and self-esteem scores in both phases (r=.73 and .64 in Phases 1 and 2, respectively). In addition to basic trust subscale scores, interpersonal trust subscale scores were also positively correlated to self-esteem scores in both phases (r=.37 and .37, in Phases 1 and 2, respectively).

    The author stressed that soft neurological signs (SNS) which is a type of behavioral findings, indicating a possibility of the presence of the minor brain damage (dysfunction), should be included in the comprehensive neuropsychological test battery. The author explained that there could be a clinical significance of the neuropsychological analysis of the executing process during the SNS tests. In addition, the author proposed that the relationship between the neuropsychological findings of the SNS and other higher cortical functions should be examined in order to predict the structure of children's dysfunction.
