全体曲げ破壊を生じる連層鉄骨ブレースで補強されたRC平面骨組を対象とし,水平2方向載荷の影響を実験と有限要素法解析を用いて検討した。最大耐力は水平2方向載荷を受けた時の方が水平1方向載荷を受けた時よりも1割程度低下した。2方向載荷を受けたブレース脇付帯柱の脚部で二軸圧縮となり,コンクリートが早期に圧壊して隅角部から軟化を生じたことで最大耐力が低下した。

連層で設置された鉄骨ブレースを含むRC平面骨組試験体を対象にして,面外方向に1.5%変形させた状態を保持しながら面内に正負交番載荷する実験を行い,全体曲げ破壊を生じさせた。鉄骨ブレースを含むRC部分骨組が全体曲げ破壊する時の最大耐力は計算値よりも低く二軸曲げの影響を受けている事が分かった。

縮小RC平面骨組に鉄骨ブレースを連層に設置した試験体を作製し,全体曲げ破壊あるいは基礎回転破壊を対象として正負交番載荷実験を行った。破壊に至る過程や力学特性を詳細に調査し変形性能の定量的評価を行った結果,変形角が2%までの範囲ならば全体曲げ破壊は基礎回転破壊よりも耐震性能に優れていた。
