    本研究では,粒子法の一種であるSPH法を用いてエレクトロスラグ溶接をシミュレートし,スラグ浴の対流によって深い溶込みが得られることを明らかにした.ジュール加熱によって高温となったワイヤ直下のスラグ成分は,対流により母材近傍へ輸送される.また母材はスラグ浴からの熱伝導によって溶融し,溶込みが形成される.母材表面はスラグ浴の対流により高温に加熱され続けるため,溶込み形成が促進されることが明らかになった

    これまで開発してきた点熱源分布を含んだ三次元非定常熱伝導モデルについて、材料表面からの入熱、および溶融池表面へのアークの圧力を示す熱源モデルを、従来の円筒形から円錐形に改良した解析モデルを開発した。そして、開発した解析モデルを用いて、水平隅肉MAG溶接継手における溶け込み形状を予測した結果、これまでは溶け込み形状の再現に解析において必要であったアークの狙い位置の調整が、不必要となる結果を得た。
