    MAG溶接法では低スパッタ化が可能な一方で,Arの使用量が多いためガスコストが非常に高い.そこで,CO2を主たるシールドガスとし,少量のArを溶滴の周辺のみに周期的(パルス状)に添加することで規則的な溶滴移行を実現し,ガスコストを抑えつつ低スパッタ化が可能なプロセスを開発した.本報では溶滴移行制御の鍵となるシールドガスの挙動をシュリーレン法を用いて観察し,溶滴移行形態との関係について調査した.

    近年,CMTプロセスに代表される"溶接電流・ワイヤ送給制御された短絡移行型溶接プロセス"の適用が拡大している.従来のGMA溶接では非常に不規則かつ不安定であった短絡移行プロセスが,本プロセスでは規則的・安定的に繰り返される.本研究では基礎的検討として,GMA溶接中の電流とワイヤ送給の制御が短絡移行プロセスに及ぼす効果を,数値シミュレーションによって明らかにした.
