抄録

The effects of He-Ne laser irradiation on the growth of yeast were investigated by counting viable cells at various temperatures (15 - 43°C) and pressures (0. 1, 50, 100, and 150 MPa). The laser irradiation was found to be able to retard the growth inhibitory effect of hydrostatic pressure thus stimulating the growth of yeast cells under pressures up to 100 MPa.
