抄録

Solid waste disposed in Sendai City sanitary landfills is mostly incinerator residue. The content of soluble calcium and chloride in the incinerator residue is becoming increasingly higher. Consequently in leachate treatmen plants problems resulting from calcium scales and salt erosion are occurring. Treatment systems and technologies foe the high concentration of calcium and chloride ion incinerator residue are necessary to promote better management for sanitary landfills. This paper presents the research on and management of sanitary landfills in Sendai City.
