抄録

Regarding the provision of larger designated areas for waste disposal with the aim of decreasing dioxin emissions, there are many issues and problems involved.<BR>It has been recognized that there are a number of municipalities which will be unable to accept large regional waste disposal, if their incineration capacities exeed more than 100 t/day. Issues such as the application of these incineration capacities and the reduction of transport costs add to the area specific problems of variable regional characteristics.<BR>There are some strategies which could solve these problems. For example: one is the development of high performance small incinerators for the emission control of dioxins and another is the reduction of transportation costs by using RDF.
