Abstract
A 2-dimensional gamma ray position sensitive detector was developed and tested which capable of obtaining desirable distribution of position response by selecting the area of painting reflector of BGO for PET. The results show performance of the detector is well enough to use for high resolution PET in both axial and in-plane direction with 3-dimensional acquisition capability.
