Abstract
<p>Polypyrrole/ion-conducting polymer electrolyte composites are prepared by in situ electro-polymerization of pyrrole in polymer electrolyte matrix. The existence of the concentration gradient of PPy is characterized at the PPy/polymer electrolyte interface and this concentration gradient leads to the facile electron transfer due to the fast counterion-transport across the interface.</p>
