抄録

This article aimed to grasp the spatial transition of open space historically and the influence of the transition to the residents' perception in fisher village, Mihonoseki, Shimane pref.. Using mainly community paper, we analyze the character of spatial transformation of recent 71 years. Residents' perception concerned with spatial transformation is gathered at the interview workshop. Conclusions are as below: 1. The purposes of spatial transformation are mainly to overcome geographical limit and to promote the fishery and sightseeing business. 2. Resident' perception show that generally they recognize the spatial transformation negative and want to renovate of those. To create livable town. we suggested spatial transformation is very significant and should be involve residents' particilation.
