抄録

In this paper, an estimation model of retail trade sales areas by means of an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is proposed. It is a micro approach model using mesh data. We show the method of building the model based on the mesh data of 1km size that are easy to collect and prepare. From the results of application to Higashi-Mikawa area, it was found than an ANN model developed here is more excellent in reproductivity than a traditional model using a statistical method, and is available for estimating the sales areas by sector.
