抄録

A 60-year-old female visited our hospital with ascending colon cancer after operation of transverse colon cancer, which had been histologically revealed as well-differentiated adenocarcinoma (ss, ly₀, v₀, n₀). Right hemicolectomy was performed.<BR>Histological examination of the resected specimen of the colon revealed mucosal cancer of adenoma type IIa (signet ring cell carcinoma), and a mucosal-infiltrated type IIa (well-differentiated adenocarcinoma), and type 1 cancer (moderately-differentiated adenocarcinoma) in the ascending colon.<BR>This case was a very rare case of signet ring cell carcinoma in adenoma with synchronous multiple carcinomas (4 lesions) of the colon.
