抄録

Poly [(phenylvinylsilylene) ethynylene-1, 3-phenylene ethynylene] is the model molecule of the sily 1-carborane hybridized diethylbenzene-silylene pohlymer which exhibits high nonflammability in air.<BR>The thermosetting mechanism of poly [(phenylviny lsilylene) ethynylene-1, 3-phenyleneethynylene] was studied using the high-resolution and solid-state 1H, 13C, and 29Si NMR and two-dimensional 1H-13C correlation NMR method in this study. From these results, we concluded that two intermolecular cross-linking reactions: 1) the diene reaction between C≡Cs and 2) the addition reaction between C≡C and -CH=CH2 and between -CH=CH2s, occurred in this polymer. The naphthalene ring and cyclohexene ring was formed due to the diene reaction and the addition reaction, respectively, and a very highly thermally stable structure was formed. Both of the reactions progressed in the 250-450°C region.
