Abstract
Egg shell membranes showed potential to separate racemic amino acid and racemic amino acid derivative by electrodialysis. In the present study, L-Glu, Ac-L-Trp, and D-Lys were preferentially transported through egg shell membranes from corresponding racemic mixtures. Permselectivity toward L-Glu reached 2.9.
