Abstract

主に通常航海中における漁船乗組員の歩行活動変動の概要を把握する手がかりを得るために, 1994-95年に漁業練習船が行ったニュージランド・ハワイ航海において,各職種の乗組員18名の歩行数を調べ,次の結果が得られた: 1)各乗組員の歩行数は午前午後あるいは日による変動が大きく,平均の個人差も大きい。 2)歩行数に関する主成分分析の結果, 18変数を扱った分析において累積寄与率が0.8を越えるのは第8主成分であること,因子付加量の大きな主成分が各乗組員によって異なることから,歩行数の変動パターンの多様性が抽出された。因子得点の変動から,歩行数は午前午後・出港後の日数・船としての作業内容(通常航海・海洋観測・マグロ延縄漁業)のような海面状況と関係のない要因の影響を無視できないことが分かった。

The present report was prepared, based on the basic idea that much attention should be paid to keeping thecrew members in good condition, for the purpose of making the fishing vessel work under ideal conditions.Regarding the pedometer readings as an indicator of activity, those for the 18 members working in differentsections of the ship and of different ranks on board a 2,000 G.T. fishery training vessel were recorded every12 hours throughout 53 effective days in 1994-95 during a long range cruise in the Pacific ocean.The.readings for the respective members were distributed over a wide range, and the average of the readingsshowed a large difference between the members. The principal component analysis using the variance-covariancematrix as the calculation base revealed the diversity in the pattem of fluctuation of the readings according to themembers, aa clearly indicated by the different component numbers showing a high factor loading according to themembers. The variation in component scores suggested that the dependence of readings on the following factorscould not be neglected : either AM readings or PM ones, the number of days after departure from ports, and thework in which the vessel was engaged.
