抄録

An 81-year-old man was admitted for of upper abdominal pain, and an enormous hard mass palpated in the epigastrium. Abdominal computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed the tumor occupied the left upper abdomen, originating in the gastric posterior wall and growing extramurally. It had a soft multilobular surface, weighed 2, 900g, and was 11×19×19cm. Immunohistochemically, S100 and SMA were negative, and CD34, NSE, and c-kit receptor were positive. The tumor was diagnosed as a gastrointestinal autonomic nerve tumor (GANT).
