Abstract

1日当りの積算温度 (温度総量: 温度×時間) を一定に保ち, 環境温度を日内変動させることが, 子豚の成長, 消化率におよぼす影響を検討する目的で試験を行なった。供試子豚は生後53日齢および62日齢のY×Lの交雑種8頭 (平均体重5.7±0.2kg) を用いて, 22日間飼育試験および10日間消化試験を行なった。試験区は各区1日当りの積算温度を504℃とし, 21℃一定 (対照区), 21±3℃区, 21±6℃区の3区を設けた。飼育試験の成績は, 平均増体量 (1日当り) では, 対照区が0.682±0.049kgを示し, 21±3℃区および21±6℃区では, おのおの0.660±0.053kg, 0.602±0.033kgとなり, 対照区との間に21±3℃区は有意の差が認あられなかったが, 21±6℃区は有意に低い成績を示した。平均飼料摂取量 (1日当り) は, 対照区が1.33±0.023kgを示し, 21±3℃区および21±6℃区は, おのおの1.30±0.06kgおよび1.15±0.02kgとなり, 平均増体量と同様の傾向を示した。飼料効率は, 対照区が51.1±2.0%を示し, 21±3℃区および21±6℃区は, おのおの50.5±2.0%および52.3±2.2%となり, 環境温度を日内変動させた影響はほとんどみられなかった。消化試験の成績では粗タンパク質ならびにエネルギーの消化率に対して環境温度を日内変動させた影響はほとんどみられなかった。

This study was conducted to clarify the effect of daily variation of environmental temperature with a fixed integrated temperature on the growth and digestibility of piglets. A growth test was done for 22 days and a digestibility test for 10 days using 8 male crossbred Y×W piglets; they were between 53 and 62 days of age at the start of the study. Three experimental groups were established for the different temperatures: fixed at 21°C (21°C×24 hours=504°C/day) as a control group, 21±3°C (24°C×12 hours+18°C×12 hours=504°C/day) and 21±6°C (27°C×12 hours+15°C×12 hours=504°C/day). In the results of growth test, daily gain of the control group was 0.682±0.049kg/day, and the 21±3°C group and 21±6°C group showed 0.660±0.053kg/day and 0.602±0.033kg/day, respectively. Statistical treatment showed the daily gain of the 21±6°C group to be lower than that of the control group. Daily intake in the control group was 1.33±0.023kg/day, and the 21±3°C group and 21±6°C group showed 1.30±0.06kg and 1.15±0.02kg, respectively. Statistical significance was recognized in the relation between the control group and the 21±6°C group. Feed conversion in the control group showed 51.1±2.2%, 50.5±2.0% in the 21±3°C group and 52.3±2.2% in the 21±6°C group, but no significant difference was shown among the three groups. The results of digestibility test showed no significant difference. Therefore, change of environmental temperature affected neither digestibility nor the utilization of digestable energy of piglets.
