抄録

Synchronous triple carcinoma of the digestive tract is a rare condition. To our knowledge, 16 cases including the present case of triple carcinoma of the esophagus, stomach, and colon have been reported in Japan. However, such as all triple carcinomas were of superficial type has nerver been reported.<br> A 72-year-old male complaining of general fatigue was found to have synchronous triple carcinoma of superificial type in the esophagus (0-IIa+IIc), stomach (IIc) and rectum (Isp). He was successfully operated on. Triple carcinomas were resected at the same time. 1) local gatrectomy, 2) radical esophagectomy with lymph node resection, and 3) endoscopic polypecomy.<br> The histological diagnoses of the esopagus, stomach and colon carcinoma were squamous cell carcinoma invasive to the submucosal layer with lymph node metastases, well differentiated tubular adenocarcinoma invasive to the mucosal layer, and carcinoma in adenoma, respectively.
