This paper presents a rare case of huge breast fibrosarcoma untreated for 10 years. A 34-year-old woman had noticed a breast tumor 10 years before, but she had not received any treatment for her psychotic disease and religeous reason. In July 1993, she was admitted to the hospital because of bleeding from the huge breast tumor. The tumor was located in the left breast and was 30cm in diameter with a bleeding necrosed portion. She was adviced to undergo operation, but refused. So the treatment of the wound and chemotherapy with UFT were started on an ambulant basis. However, the tumor gradually enlarged to form a huge ulcer. In July 1994, we obtained patient's consent to the operation.<br> The tumor occupied the entire left breast, and invaded the pectoralis major and minor muscles. But no chest wall was involved. Radical mastectomy was performed and wide-ranging defect was repaired by using latissimus dorsi muscle and skin flap. The resected specimen showed a 27×30×17cm huge tumor weighting 8kg, with central necrosis.<br> The surface showed large deep ulcer. Microscopically it was fibrosarcoma.
