Abstract
Successful cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) should be started rapidly as soon as possible, and CPR by bystanders may be necessary. Since the spread of medical knowledge of CPR to the general population, we have held CPR seminar for schoolteachers. Before and after the seminar, trainees filled out a questionnaire on their impressions of CPR, and the results from questionnaire suggested that the CPR seminar was useful for teaching CPR skills as well as heightening public awareness of CPR.
