Convenient Synthesis of Zeolite Beta in Basic Media without Alkali Metal Cations

Abstract

A convenient approach has been developed to synthesize zeolite Beta with SiO<SUB>2</SUB>/Al<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> ratios from 14.2 to infinity using tetraethylammonium hydroxide as the structure-directing agent (SDA) in absence of alkali metal cations.
