<p>  Bending characteristics of shrunk clothes were discussed from the points both variances of structures for clothes and ones of the bending characteristic for yarns composed of clothes, making several silk Habutaes the subject of this study.</p><p>  (1) The shrunk clothes treated with yunoshi method have the properties that bending is soft and elasticity becomes large in the warp yarn bending direction, and bending is hard and elasticity becomes small in the filling yarn bending direction. This is not so much the variance of structures in clothes rather the variance of bending characteristics of yarns in charge of bending of clothes.</p><p>  (2) For before and after clothes, next two relations between bending characteristics for clothes and ones for yarns alone composed of clothes were observed experimentally, (≈ corellation mark)</p><p>  B/n ≈ BY , 2HB/n ≈ 2HBY</p><p>where, B and 2HB ; Bending stiffness and bending hysteresis for clothes, BY and 2HBY ; Bending stiffness and bending hysteresis for yarns composed of clothes when measured bending yarns alone taking away the perpendicular yarns to bending yarns, n ; numbers of yarns in charge of bending for clothes.</p><p>  Thus, B and 2HB of clothes are expressed in the shapes that BY and 2HBY of yarns in charge of bending for clothes multiply n of number of yarns in charge of bending for clothes, so the main factor of the structure for clothes related to bending characteristics for clothes may be said n only. Those relations are able to be hold about γ=0.95 not to discriminate bending characteristics between pre-shrunk clothes and shrunk ones.</p>
