Abstract

左側肘関節の脱臼に対して整復術を試みたものの, 改善の認められなかったポメラニアン種の雄 (4歳) に対して関節固定術を実施した. 右側肘関節のX線写真において, 肘突起の欠損および鈎状突起の低形成が認められたことから, 本症例の肘関節脱臼の要因が先天性の肘関節異常であることが強く疑われた.

Arthrodesis was performed on the left elbow of a 4-year-old Pomeranian in which surgical reduction of elbow luxation had failed. Absence of the anconeal processes and hypoplasia of the coronoid processes as revealed by radiography of the right elbow led to strong suspicion of congenital elbow anomaly as an etiologic factor in left-elbow luxation.
