抄録
We reported about the rolling resistance of track rollers on the rubber crawler (Part 1). We also proposed the simulation method for travel resistance based on the dynamic model due to rolling resistance and estimated the relationship between the simulation results and fluctuations of the power requirement of rubber crawler vehicle that might have a close relationship with travel resistance in part 2. In order to further investigate the validity of the travel resistance simulation, it is necessary to measure the forces acting on track rollers that are caused by the travel resistance of the track rollers on the rubber crawler. In this paper, the measuring system of the forces acting on the track rollers of a traveling vehicle was proposed. Furthermore, validity of the prediction of travel resistance was inspected through the comparison with measured results. As a result, the simulation would be able to estimate an influence of the travel resistance caused by the difference of the arrangement of the track rollers given as the experimental condition.
