<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>Mesoporous silicon oxynitride materials, which were highly ordered and had high nitrogen content, were prepared by heat treatment of fresh SBA15 precursors in flowing ammonium at high temperatures.</jats:p>
