The prognosis of diffuse panbronchiolitis (DPB) has been remarkably improved after the development of low-dose erythromycin therapy, possibly due to anti-inflammatory rather than anti-infective mechanisms. Interestingly, DPB associated with lung cancer is quite rare. Here, we report an autopsy case of DPB who developed lung cancer after a long successful therapy with low-dose erythromycin.<br>(Internal Mrdicine 39: 404-106, 2000)
