教材開発体験による学生の潜在能力の啓発 Enlightenment of Student's Latent Ability by Experience Developing Teaching Materials

The design education for mechanical engineering is of cardinal importance to cultivate young engineers who will presently participate in manufacturing. Recently, most youths can well handle new products, while opportunities to experience how to manufacture them actually are gradually decreasing. Therefore, it is considered that a student's latent ability will be enlightened so effectively through his experience to design and make up the easily understandable teaching material with dynamics or mechanism. This paper proposes that, according to the new teaching materials including the moving objects created by 3-D CAD becoming one of the important enlightenment factors, the machine dynamics will be easy for the students to study, and the design quality will be improved as a result.
