Abstract

This paper presents an effective cross-curricular engineering education model to enhance manufacturing skills. Essential requirements for the successful fulfillment of the model were identified as follows; (1)knowledge/technology and scientific approach to create valuable products, (2)coping well with problems have diverse solutions, (3)constituting concepts on reality, (4)motivating to creating products, and (5)applying and developing relevant theories to the real subjects. Education program deals with creative manufacturing skills for a top from product planning to its evaluation through applying information technologies and management sciences. Finally a creative product planning and its evaluation were exemplified to fulfill remarkable improvement in the education programs.
