Electrolysis of water is an important production method of hydrogen. But it contains much amount of impurities such as O<sub>2</sub> and H<sub>2</sub>O etc. The H<sub>2</sub> absorption of hydrogen storage alloy is deteriorated by impurities in H<sub>2</sub> gas. Recently, we reported an effect of LiOH and H<sub>2</sub>O pretreatment, which drastically enhances the H<sub>2</sub> absorption of the alloy even after the significant air oxidation. In this paper, we report effect of LiOH pretreatment on H<sub>2</sub> absorption of water vapor exposed LaNi<sub>5</sub>.
