Abstract

We have been studying software on that users can design pop-up cards intuitively. With this software, the user can edit a pop-up card in 3 D with simple interface using a keyboard and a mouse. The unfolded pattern of the pop-up card is generated automatically by this software and can be printed.<BR>In this paper, we propose the use of this unique software to further expand the graphic scientific education of elementary and junior high school students. The educational material was used in a course of Art-and-Housecraft class at a junior high school. This is a report of the effect of the material.
