Abstract

A large number of organic superconductors have been synthesized since the first one was discovered 25 years ago, and has got to be known as a family of superconductors. The organic materials are very different from inorganic materials in terms of both synthesis and structure leading to their unique superconductivity, thereby strongly motivating research on organic superconductors. In this article, I review the materials research from the viewpoint of physicists and highlight some of the frontiers of superconductivity research.
