Abstract

居住環境の評価は,都市計画において,特に地方都市における居住の促進という観点から重要な研究テーマの1つである.一方,居住選択行動は通常,世帯内相互作用が伴う世帯意思決定プロセスによって決定されると考えられる.また,居住環境に関する評価は,世帯構成員によって異なる.しかし,既存研究の多くは,このような世帯意思決定メカニズムを無視している.そこで,本研究では,前述の世帯意思決定メカニズムの影響を明示的に考慮した,居住環境に関する新たな評価方法を提案し,世帯居住意識分析を行うことを目的とする.そして,地方都市である東広島市で収集したアンケート調査データを用いて検証した結果,提案した方法論の有効性を明らかにした.

Evaluation of living environments is one of important research topics in urban planning, especially from the perspective of promoting residence in local cities. On the other hand, residential choice behavior usually involves a household decision-making process, where intra-household interactions are prevailing. Different household members may also have different evaluations about their living environments. However, existing research has been ignoring such household decision-making mechanisms. This paper therefore attempts to propose a new method to evaluate living environments and analyze household residential attitude by explicitly incorporating the influence of such household decision-making mechanisms. Based on the data collected at a local city, Higashi-Hiroshima city, the effectiveness of the proposed methodology is empirically confirmed.
