Abstract

横浜ベイブリッジ, レインボーブリッジ, 鶴見つばさ橋のレベル2地震動に対する耐震性評価と耐震補強構造選定の基本方針とともに, 耐震性評価に用いるレベル2地震動を作成した. レベル2地震動としてプレート境界に発生するM8クラスの地震と, 内陸直下で発生するM7クラスの地震を想定した. プレート境界に発生するM8クラスの地震による強震動は, 1923年関東地震における震源モデルを基本としながら, その破壊の伝搬方向を架橋地点に向かうように設定し, 地震動の周期成分には, 検討対象とする橋梁の主要な固有振動モードの固有周期と同じ周期のものが多く含まれるようにアスペリティサイズとその配置を定めた. 首都圏における内陸直下で発生するM7クラスの地震は, 既往最大規範の考えに基づいて, 1995年兵庫県南部地震で観測された地震動を対象とした.

For the Yokohama Bay Bridge, Rainbow Bridge and Tsurumi Tsubasa Bridge, the basic principles were developed for seismic assessment for level-2 ground motions and for selection of seismic retrofit structures. Level-2 ground motions were defined for seismic assessment. For level-2 ground motions, plate boundary earthquakes with magnitude of 8 and near-field inland earthquakes with magnitude of 7 were assumed. The strong ground motions of plate boundary earthquakes with magnitude of 8 were defined based on the source model of the 1923 Kanto Earthquake. The asperity size and those locations were determined so that the ground motions were composed of numerous periods identical to the natural periods of major normal modes of vibration of the bridges, and that rupture was propagated toward the location of the bridge. For the ground motions of near-field inland earthquakes with magnitude of 7 in the Tokyo metropolitan area, the ground motions of the 1995 Hyogo-ken Nanbu Earthquake, the highest existing criteria, were adopted.
