<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>CdxZn1−xS nanoparticles incorporated in a nanoporous Vycor glass (PVG) were fabricated by incorporating and decomposing bis(N,N-diethyldithiocarbamato)cadmium and bis(N,N-dibutyldithiocarbamato)zinc sequentially. Fabrication of the alloy compound was confirmed by the shift in the X-ray diffraction pattern with respect to those of pure CdS and ZnS.</jats:p>
