抄録

We have developed the exposure assessment method for the Initial Risk Assessment for Chemical Substances to screen the risk on human health and environment. This method is featured in the point estimation of environmental concentration by the mathematical models using PRTR data and comparison with calculated and measured values. Applicability of this method to all PRTR chemical substances is demonstrated that there would be the minimum possibility to neglect the potential risks. Using this method, we have evaluated 91 chemical substances, which include some chemical substances that had not been able to assess due to the lack of monitoring data previously.
