Telescopic stereo PTV was employed as a technique for a remote flow velocity measurement of large-scale flow phenomenon. Fireworks were chosen for the first target of our attempt because it doesn't require illuminating particles thanks to a self-luminous property of the fireworks. Stereo movie that records the fireworks at two locations around 1km away from the launching point was analyzed to obtain 3-D velocity vectors. The results demonstrated the quantitative information of the fireworks with which the flying speed and the particle diameter are estimated as well. Some technical problems in the telescopic PTV will be discussed in the oral presentation.
