抄録

This is a case report of chronic expanding hemangioma in the pelvis of a 77-year-old man who presented with dysuria and lower leg edema for 1 year. An abdominal mass was detected in his pelvis in 2000 on abdominal CT. The massive tumor compressed the urine bladder, ureter, rectum and common iliac vessels gradually for the past 6 years in the pelvic cavity. He underwent a complete resection of tumor with rectum. The postoperative course was uneventful. Histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of chronic expanding hematoma.
