Abstract

本研究は作物病原菌であるバーティシリウム菌とメロンつる割れ病菌のメタン発酵による死滅効果を明らかにすることを目的に発酵温度35℃と55℃で回分試験を行った。その結果, 微生物を90%死滅させるのに必要な時間<i>T<sub>90</sub></i>は, バーティシリウム菌は35℃で7.7日, 55℃で0.6日となった。メロンつる割れ病菌は35℃で0.5日, 55℃では15分で死滅し, 共に55℃での死滅効果が高いことが明らかとなった。

The aim of the study was to clear the effect of inactivation of <i>Verticillium dahliae</i> and <i>Fusarium oxyporum</i> f. sp. <i>melonis</i> of crops pathogenic fungi under methophilic (35°C) and thermophilic (55°C) temperatures using batchwise anaerobic digesters. The time required for a 90% reduction of viable counts of a population of microorganisms or a decrease by log<sub>10</sub> (<i>T<sub>90</sub></i>) of <i>Verticillium dahliae</i> was 7.7 days at 35°C and 0.6 days at 55°C, respectively. The <i>T<sub>90</sub></i> value of <i>Fusarium oxyporum</i> f. sp. <i>melonis</i> was 0.5 days at 35°C. However, <i>Fusarium oxyporum</i> f. sp. <i>melonis</i> could not be detected after 15 minutes at 55°C. As a result, it was clear that thermophilic digestion was more effective in inactivating <i>Verticillium dahliae</i> and <i>Fusarium oxyporum</i> f. sp. <i>melonis</i> than methophilic digestion.
