Abstract

The objective of this study is to identify the evaluation characteristics of international tourists by comparing with Japanese counterparts and also the two different destinations visited. The findings of a questionnaire survey asking about on-site behavior, pre-trip expectation/post-trip evaluation of activities and overall trip evaluation showed the differences among them. Further, international tourists were compared by country of residence. It was found that SD of each group's evaluation was very close although the average score differed. Then, the results of multivariate analyses of the data of 525 respondents specified the 12 segments in a cross-sectional manner.
