Attempts have been made to obtain CaTiO<SUB>3</SUB> powder by mixture of corrosion products of calcium in H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB> solution at 373 K and titanium in H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB>+NH<SUB>3</SUB> solution at room temperature for a few hours. The white calcium hydroxide and yellow peroxotitanium hydroxide aboves were mixtured and sintered at 673-1273 K for 7.2 ks. CaTiO<SUB>3</SUB> particles in micron sizes have been identified by XRD analysis and SEM observations. As an example of the corrosion synthesis method, the synthesis of CaTiO<SUB>3</SUB> was electrochemically considered as the mixture of corrosion products of calcium and titanium in corrosive environments.
