抄録

The Mn<SUB>x</SUB>Fe<SUB>3-x</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB> powders were prepared by a coprecipitation method or a solid state reaction. The effect of specific surface area on electrochemical properties and the relationship between the electrochemical properties and manganese substitution values were examined by BET method and chrono-potentiometry. The results indicate that capacitance per unit weight of MnFe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB> is proportional to specific surface area. Furthermore, capacitance per specific surface of Mn<SUB>x</SUB>Fe<SUB>3-x</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB> is constant to about 65 <I>μ</I>F/cm<SUP>2</SUP> despite the increase of the manganese substitution values (x≥1.0).
